The foreground rock pool was calm around sunset, low tide, winter's late afternoon, where young children could safely play. North Avoca, a splendid view to distant headlands: 'Art in the Open' Day. All day people meandered the 5 Lands Walk, surf was big, boiling, yet seemed so far away.
